Mr Ghosh
Mr Ghosh did his ophthalmology training in Newcastle upon Tyne and Sunderland Eye Infirmary. During his training he got his Membership (MRCOphth) and then Fellowship (FRCOphth) of the Royal College of Ophthalmology. He completed his Advanced Subspeciality training in cornea and anterior segment at Sunderland Eye Infirmary and then completed his Cornea Fellowship at Leicester Royal Infirmary. He has a keen interest in cataract surgery and corneal and anterior segment diseases. He joined Sunderland Eye Infirmary as a Cornea and Anterior Segment Consultant in 2014 where he now performs high volume cataract susrgery and corneal transplant surgery (penetrating corneal grafts and lamellar corneal surgery) and offers treatment for all forms of corneal and anterior segment diseases including Dry Eye and Keratoconus. He has a special interest in new varieties of corneal graft surgeries including Ultrathin Endothelial transplants and Descemet Membrane Endothelial Transplants (DMEK). He offers cataract surgery with mono focal and premium intraocular lens depending on patients needs.
