What is an Itchy Eye?

Itchy eyes are a common ailment that many suffer causing the eye to become red and sore.

What causes it?

Common causes include allergens such as hay fever and pet hairs and foreign bodies such as an eyelash or dust may cause the eye to itch, become inflamed or water. Eye injury or infection can cause damage to the surface of the eye (the cornea) which may cause inflammation or itching.
