Reflexology

A complementary health therapy helping to bring your body back to balance and aiding the body to work as well as it can.

Reflexology is a touch therapy based on the theory that different points on the feet and lower legs correspond with all the systems and organs of the whole body. Your reflexologist will work on these points and areas to help promote deep relaxation and wellbeing.

Following treatment, you may notice tension reduced and feel a sense of relaxation. You may also notice better-quality sleep and find your mood and sense of wellbeing improved.

With ever increasing levels of stress in everyday life, we are all looking for ways to help improve our health and wellbeing.

Did you know there are 7,000 nerve endings found in the human foot? The stimulation of these nerve endings during your reflexology treatment will work to restore unbalanced energy levels as well as helping to heal a whole host of niggling health ailments.

How does it work?

Reflexologists refer to ‘maps of the feet’ to understand which parts of the foot mirror the different systems and organs of the body. They target certain areas of the foot to provide a non-invasive stimulation of these systems and organs of the body.

Reflexology is used to treat a range of health issues. Common issues patients present with include migraines, menstruation, restlessness, and stress. Reflexology can improve the central nervous system and immune system, boost circulation, eliminate toxins and generally breathe life back into your body helping you to feel balanced, positive, and full of energy.  Regular treatments can help ensure the body continues to sustain optimal health.
